Intermodal Dispatcher

A great company in Mobile is looking for an Intermodal Dispatcher. 

Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be able to ensure all driver loads are covered and on time
• Make sure drivers have the right equipment and documentation for pickups and deliveries
• Ensure proper paperwork is gathered for load billing
• Monitor and track equipment to minimize per diem costs
• Enter and maintain load info into the system
• Assist drivers in resolving problems
• Use sound judgment to prevent unnecessary company charges or liabilities
• Coordinate with terminals and customers on pickups and deliveries
• Work an on-call rotation
