Ocean City Maryland's famous Kite Festival, hosted by The Kite Loft, will take place on the beach between 2nd and 6th streets from September 20 - 23, 2012.

What is the Ocean City Kite Festival?

Every year, thousands of people travel from all over the nation travel to Ocean City a whole weekend filled with dazzling kite displays, fun and engaging demonstrations and games, delicious food and fabulous shopping. Kids and kids at heart will love to marvel at the whimsical kites, participate in games and special events, and enjoy a weekend of fun with family and friends. 

As a special treat, the first 100 children between the ages of 5 and 12 will receive a FREE kite from the Kite Loft starting on Saturday at 1:00 pm. The whole family can enjoy special kite shows and team and individual demos, all while taking in the best attraction Ocean City has to offer - our famous Boardwalk. You'll find excellent food, unique shopping, and fun rides and games in addition to the Kite Festival.
